Day 1 Nairobi - Masai Mara
Pick up from Nairobi CBD/ Nairobi hotel at 7;00 am local time, drive South West to Masai Mara traversing The Great African Rift Valley escarpment through Narok Town. Arrive in Mara just in time for lunch, check in at the camp, and rest. Enjoy the afternoon game drive from 4 pm – 6 pm through the park eager to spot the Big Five (Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Rhino, Buffalo) and other animals. In the evening at Ashnil Mara you may go for a sundowner or relax by your balcony overlooking the Hippo pool by the banks of the great Mara River. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/lodge.
Day 2 Masai Mara - Mara River full-day excursion
Prepare to have breakfast by 7:00 am, and depart for a comprehensive full-day game drive by 8:00 am. On this day you will get a chance to view the wildlife and embrace the endearing savannah landscape. Your day is incomplete not until you visit the Mara River famous for the wildebeest migration. You may experience the epic great wildebeest migration where millions of wildebeests , zebras and gazelles take the indomitable journey crossing the Mara from the Serengeti into the Kenyan side of the Mara triangle. Have lunch at the selected picnic point and proceed with the game drive until 4 pm. Return to Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Masai Mara - Nairobi
Plan to have breakfast by 8;00 am, and check out of camp as you embark on your return journey to Nairobi. (You can opt to visit the local Masai village to enjoy their music and dance and visit the huts to learn about their way of life for an extra KES 2,500/= per person.) You may have stopovers at the various curio shops to buy gifts and souvenirs. Arrive in Nairobi at around 4 pm, and drop off at Nairobi .
