Amboseli National Park
Gazetted in 1974 as a National Park, Amboseli National Park;"home of the African elephant" is a UNESCO world heritage site famous for its large herds of free-ranging Elephants, other wildlife, and hundreds of bird species. This magnificent 390 square-kilometer park is located 215 Kilometers south of Nairobi. Amboseli prides in a rich history intertwined with the local Maasai people and the evolution of wildlife conservation in Kenya. The name Amboseli stemmed from the Maasai word "Empusel,” which means “salty dust"
A trip to Amboseli treats you to stunning views of Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro;a breathtaking backdrop to the park at the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Best times to view the snow-capped mountain is early morning hours to experience the glorious sunrise.
A visit to this park exposes one to the diverse wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. The unique park ecosystem ranging from swamps, dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, savannah, woodlandsand the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the horizon supports the rich biodiversity.

Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli
This day begins with an early morning pick-up from the hotel/ place of stay. Take Mombasa road and drive South of Nairobi towards Amboseli . Arrive at lodge/ camp just in time for lunch. Check in , have a brief rest to relax as you freshen up. Later in the evening embark on an evening game drive to enjoy the Amboseli ecosystem and wildlife.
Day 2 Full day Game drive
Early morning breakfast, thereafter departure for a full day game drive where you will get to experience the large free-ranging Elephant herds and other wildlife. If you are lucky you may be able to capture stunning sunrise views of the majestic snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro . You will have a picnic lunch in the park as you search and spot other Amboseli inhabitants . Expect to end the game drive at 4 ;00 pm , return to hotel , relax, swim , later dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Amboseli - Nairobi
Breakfast, check out and departure for Nairobi with a short game drive en-route as you drive off Amboseli to join the Nairobi- Mombasa highway, expect to arrive in the afternoon. This trip ends with a drop-off at your hotel/airport/ place of stay.
