Tsavo West National Park is a breathtaking expanse of an incredible rugged wilderness, known for its dramatic landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich history. From the surprising sight of million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out of from the under-parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, this park is a place you would want to repeatedly visit.
In this over 7000 square kilometer park, (the largest park in Kenya), you will get to experience the Land of Lava, Springs, Man-eaters, and Magical Sunsets. The diverse topography spanning from the rolling savannahs and acacia woodlands to rocky ridges and the stunning Mzima Springs, Tsavo West offers varied impressive landscapes for nature lovers. Tsavo-West is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), hippos, crocodiles, and an abundance of birdlife species. The iconic Mzima Springs ecosystem is home to thousands of fish and hippos, offering incredible underwater viewing opportunities. The spectacular Shetani Lava Flows offers a striking volcanic feature creating a dramatic backdrop. The Shetani (Devil's lava flows is a vast expanse of folded black lava that spreads over thousands of acres across Savannah resting at the foot of the Chyulu Hills creating an intriguing landscape to behold.
Tsavo’s unique wildlife comprises of Famous mannerless maneaters, large herds of red elephants, black rhinos, lesser kudu, and rare gerenuk among other unique features you may expect to see in this park.

Day 1 Nairobi - Tsavo West
Early morning pick up from Hotel to embark on a 4-hour journey along Mombasa road to Tsavo West National Park with stop overs in Emali . Arrive and check in , have lunch , relax , have an evening game drive till 5 pm as you explore rugged magical Tsavo West , relaxation , dinner and overnight
Day 2 All day game drive at Tsavo West
This is an all day game drive , exploring the expansive Tsavo West National Park wildlife and ecosystem . Depart soon after breakfast for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. We hope to spot the "red elephant herds " the mannerless man eaters and other animals in the Park ,after lunch head back to the lodge and enjoy the hotel facilities later in the evening, visit Mzima Springs as you watch animals drink and the fascinating shetani (devil's lava flows )thereafter return back to lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Tsavo West - Nairobi
After breakfast ,check out of the lodge. Have a last game drive as you exit the rugged Tsavo West wilderness . On this day you will have stop overs in between with packed lunch .Enjoy the journey back to Nairobi , expect to arrive by 2 pm.
